How we research
Prices and limits come from the vendor's own pages, are dated, and are checked again every month. We do not run product tests or give scores.
Source hierarchy
For a price, a limit or a feature we use sources in this order:
- The vendor's own pricing page, read with its monthly and yearly toggles and any regional selector.
- The vendor's help centre, documentation and terms, for limits, credit definitions and licence terms.
- Official announcements, such as launch posts and deprecation notices, with their dates.
- Independent price trackers, only where the vendor page cannot be read, always labelled unconfirmed and not quoted as fact.
Where a vendor page cannot be read (login wall, bot check, app-only pricing), the review says so and states no price as fact.
What our evidence labels mean
- Read: we read the figure on the vendor's page on the stated date.
- Implied: worked out from another figure on the page, such as a stated saving. The arithmetic is shown.
- Unconfirmed: reported by a tracker or a second source and not seen on the vendor page.
- Not stated: the vendor page does not give it.
How prices and specs are checked and dated
Every price shows its plan, billing period (monthly or annual), currency and the date we read it. Many vendors show euros or dollars depending on location, so we label which list we read and add the other where we found it. Promotional prices are stored apart from list prices. Pricing pages are re-checked every month, and each change is written to the public change log.
What we do not do
We do not run our own product tests. There are no scores, no quality rankings and no benchmark results of our own. Pages compare what vendors publish: plans, limits, credits, terms and cost per unit. Where we cite a third party's measured test, we name it and link it.
How pages are checked
Every fact is checked against its cited source, and each page gets a separate review pass before it is published. The corrections log lists what those reviews and readers have caught.
