Premium is $29 a month on monthly billing ($139 on yearly billing) and adds 1,000+ voices in 60+ languages, listening at up to 5x, scan-and-listen, AI summaries and chat, voice typing, AI podcasts and a voice assistant. The Yearly view (labelled “save 60%”) shows $139 a year for the same plan, about $11.58 a month. If you just want to hear articles at normal speed, Free may be enough.

Our arithmetic: $29 a month is $348 a year, so $139 a year saves 60 percent, matching the badge. The yearly view carries a caption “Prices shown per month, billed yearly” beside a $139 figure marked “/YEAR”; we read $139 as the yearly total because it matches the 60 percent saving.
Who it suits, who should skip
- Suits people who take in a lot of reading by ear (PDFs, documents, web pages) and want the natural voices and faster speeds.
- Suits those who also want dictation in the same subscription, though Wispr Flow is a dedicated dictation product.
- Skip Premium if the free 1.5x reader covers you, or if you need voiceover for publishing: Murf is priced for that.
What this page cannot tell you
How natural the voices sound and how well scan-and-listen reads a photographed page are not on a pricing page, and we have not judged them. Earlier text claimed speed training raises reading rates to 2 to 4x; we could not source it and removed it.
