Pika is a credit-based generator that now runs several models, including Seedance 2.5 and Wan 3.0 for video. Its pricing page (29 Sep 2026, USD) lists Starter at $10 a month for 900 credits, Creator at $35 for 3,150 and Fancy from $95 for 8,550, with a 20 percent saving on yearly billing. A commercial licence starts at Creator, not Starter. On Seedance 2.5 a 720p 5-second clip costs 122 credits, about $1.36 on any monthly plan.

What a clip costs
Every plan works out to 90 credits per dollar at monthly billing (900 for $10, 3,150 for $35, 8,550 for $95), so upgrading buys features and volume, not a cheaper credit. Yearly billing lifts that to 112.5 credits per dollar on Starter and Creator, and top-up packs cost 60 credits per dollar. Our arithmetic from the page’s credits per generation:

Starter’s 900 credits therefore give 7 Seedance clips a month; the page’s own estimate is the same figure. Top-up credits work only in Pika Create on pika.art, not in the API or iOS app.
Who it suits, who should skip
- Suits casual video experiments on Starter, or Wan clips at low cost.
- Choose Creator if you will publish the output commercially: Starter has no commercial licence.
- Skip if you need many long clips: seven premium clips a month on Starter runs out fast; compare credit costs on Luma Dream Machine and Kling AI.
What this page cannot tell you
Motion quality and how the Pikaffects effects look are not on a pricing page and we have not judged them. Earlier text called them unique and generation fast; we could not source either.
