We could not read Kling’s own plan prices, so this page does not quote any as fact. On 29 Sep 2026 kling.ai’s home page promoted “Kling 4.0” for video and “Kling Image 3.0” (native 4K, image series with a consistent style). Its membership page did not render in our browser session, and a fetch returned nothing. Third-party price trackers list five tiers (Free, Standard, Pro, Premier, Ultra) at roughly $9 to $180 a month, which is higher than the table this page carried before; the trackers disagree with each other on the exact monthly figures, which is why none is quoted here. Check the price in the app before you buy.
What is confirmed
- Kling is a video and image generator from Kuaishou; the site links to Creative Studio, an API and resources.
- The current video model is named Kling 4.0 and the image model Kling Image 3.0, per the home page; the page describes them as producing audio-visual output with stable dynamic motion.
- Earlier versions of this review said Kling has the best human motion and can make two-minute clips. We could not source either against the current models and removed them.
What third parties report, unverified
Trackers such as AI Tool Analysis list a free plan with a daily credit allowance and paid plans of about 660, 3,000, 8,000 and 26,000 monthly credits. They also report first-month discounts and a saving on annual billing. The tracker cited was last updated on 3 July 2026 by its own date line. These are secondary reports of a price page we could not open (it needs the app or a login), so treat the figures as a starting point and expect them to differ by region and date.
Who it suits, who should skip
- Try the free allowance first, if it is still offered, before paying: quality on your own subjects is the deciding factor, and we have not assessed it.
- Look elsewhere if you need published, checkable prices before signing up: Runway and Veo have readable per-clip costs, worked through in Sora alternatives and Sora alternatives.
- Another option in the same class: Luma Dream Machine.
