Gemini is free with a Google account. Google’s US plans page (read 29 Sep 2026) prices the paid tiers at Google AI Plus $4.99 a month, Google AI Pro $19.99, and Google AI Ultra from $99.99 (5x Pro) or $199.99 (20x Pro). The page Google shows in the Netherlands uses euros: Plus EUR 4.99, Pro EUR 21.99, Ultra from EUR 99.99. Paid plans sell more usage, Flow video credits and cloud storage, not a different assistant. The free tier already lists Deep Research, image generation, Gemini Live, Canvas and Gems. Pay only if you hit its limits or need the storage.

The dollar prices are from Google’s US edition; the euro prices are regional, as displayed to a Dutch visitor and not converted. The Dutch page lists no yearly discount.
Cost of the storage
Because storage is bundled, part of the price may be one you were already paying: Plus gives 400 GB and Pro 5 TB against 15 GB free. If you would otherwise buy Google storage, count that before judging the price of the AI.
Who it suits, who should skip
- Stay free if you use Gemini for questions, image generation and the occasional research report.
- Plus suits people who mostly need extra storage and a modest bump in limits.
- Pro suits heavy users of Gemini inside Gmail, Docs and Vids, or of Flow video credits.
- Ultra is priced for research and development use; the page ties it to Deep Think and 5x or 20x the Pro limits.

The page points business and work accounts to a separate Gemini Enterprise offering. We did not read its pricing, so Workspace and enterprise prices are not quoted here.
What this page cannot tell you
Answer quality and how far each multiple actually goes are not on the pricing page, and we have not assessed them. Earlier versions of this review said Gemini offers capabilities no competitor can match; we could not source that and removed it.
