Gamma review

Gamma makes slide decks, documents and web pages from a prompt. It now sells four individual plans: Free (400 credits at sign-up), Plus, Pro and Ultra. In a Netherlands session on 29 Sep 2026 the page showed euros: Plus 8, Pro 18 and Ultra 77.33 a month billed annually, or 10, 24 and 86 billed monthly. The help centre lists 1,000, 4,000 and 20,000 monthly credits for Plus, Pro and Ultra. Choose Plus if you only need branding removed and longer decks; skip the higher tiers unless you need the API or premium image models.

Plans, as the page shows them

Euro prices are regional, per seat, as displayed to a Dutch visitor; we could not read a US dollar edition, so none is quoted.

PlanMonthly billingAnnual billing, per monthMonthly credits (help centre)What the pricing page adds

UltraEUR 86EUR 77.33 (EUR 928 a year)20,000Most advanced text, image and video models, up to 100 custom domains, early access to features

The pricing page text we read carries no “unlimited AI” wording on any individual plan (earlier text on this site did), so none is claimed here; usage is bounded by the monthly credits above. It also has a separate Business tab (Team and Business plans, seats bought upfront, 10,000 credits a seat on Business) that this review does not price.

Credits, in plain terms

  • Unused credits roll over “up to a certain extent”; the help centre’s example is that a 1,000-credit Plus plan can hold up to 2,000 at any time, and it does not state the rule for other plans.
  • Annual plans issue credits monthly, not upfront.
  • After cancelling, purchased credits are kept for a year and plan credits reset to the free allowance of 400, per the same article.
  • Price per 1,000 credits, our arithmetic on annual euro prices: Plus EUR 8.00, Pro EUR 4.50, Ultra EUR 3.87. Bigger tiers are cheaper per credit, but the page does not say what a deck costs in credits, so we cannot convert this to decks.

Who it suits, who should skip

  • Suits anyone who wants prompt-to-deck output and shareable web links, and mainly needs the watermark gone and longer decks: that is the Plus step.
  • Suits Pro if you need the API or several custom domains.
  • Skip Ultra unless you regularly spend Pro’s 4,000 credits on premium models.
  • Skip Gamma if you need a design-controlled deck: compare a template-driven tool such as Beautiful.ai, or write in Notion AI if the material already lives in Notion.

What this page cannot tell you

Output quality, generation speed and how many credits a typical deck uses are not on the pricing page, and we have not measured them. Earlier text quoted 30 to 90 second generation and a 20-minute pitch deck; we could not source either and removed them.

Method

Researched from Gamma’s pricing page (Netherlands session, both billing toggles read, 29 Sep 2026) and its help centre article on subscriptions. Euro prices are regional. Per-1,000-credit figures are our arithmetic. Nothing here comes from using the product.

Update log

  1. Rewritten from Gamma's pricing page and help centre: replaced the June table (Plus $10, Pro $20, 400 credits, 'unlimited AI') with the current four-plan ladder, credits per plan and rollover; removed 'best-value', the 12-slide pitch-deck workflow with invented 20-minute versus 4-hour timing, and the unsourced competitor comparisons.
  2. Audit: removed the 'unlimited AI creations' claim (not on the page as read), corrected 'cards' to 'slides', noted the separate Business tab.
