Krea sells compute units that any of its image, video and 3D models spend. On 29 Sep 2026 its pricing page (USD) showed Free at 100 units a day, Basic at $9 a month for 5,000 units, Pro at $35 for 20,000 and Max at $105 for 60,000; billed yearly the same plans show $5.25, $21 and $63 a month (the page says “save 40% on yearly plans”). Because units are the currency, cost per image depends on the model. On Basic, 5,000 units is 64 Nano Banana 2 images or 20 Seedance 2.0 videos.

Pro and Max buy units at almost the same rate as Basic; what changes is speed and access. Billed yearly, all three cost the same per unit.

What a generation costs

The page states how many generations each plan’s units cover. Dollar figures are our arithmetic.

What each tier adds

  • Free: all image, video, 3D and lip-sync models, real-time generation, LoRA training on up to 50 images, upscaling to 2K, Krea Nodes and the App Builder, a commercial license, and one image job at a time (video concurrency 0).
  • Basic: selected video models (the page says Pro unlocks all), paid upscalers up to 22K including Topaz Standard.
  • Pro and above: all video models, per the page. The page lists relaxed generations on supported in-house image models after units run out and higher concurrency; we did not map each to a specific plan.

Who it suits, who should skip

  • Suits people who want many models behind one bill and a real-time canvas, both listed on the page but not assessed by us.
  • Skip if you generate one type of image at volume: a single-vendor plan such as Midjourney or Ideogram may be simpler; the image generator comparison sets out units.
  • Skip the video tiers unless you have priced a video: at $0.25 to $0.45 for one Seedance 2.0 video the units go quickly; Luma and Runway show comparable per-clip figures.

What this page cannot tell you

Image quality, real-time canvas responsiveness and upscaling results are not on a pricing page, and we have not assessed them. The page says Krea is “trusted by 40M subscribers”; we did not verify that figure.

Method

Researched from Krea’s pricing page, read 29 Sep 2026 in a browser session with the monthly and yearly toggles both read. USD as displayed. Nothing here comes from using the product.

Update log

  1. Rewritten from Krea's pricing page with both billing toggles read: removed the unsourced 'unlimited generations' Pro claim, the $24 and $48 table, the invented workflow and 'unique real-time canvas' superlative; added the compute-unit plan table, cost per generation on monthly and yearly billing, and what Free includes.
